Friday Lunchtime Reading Group 3rd August 2018 12.45 to 1.45 p.m.
The mask
From behind the mask of an unknown man,
Comes a child with a smile
And loving, laughing eyes.
Gemini's hitherto hidden twin
Steps out to greet the world,
Seeking to bridge the gap
With warm words,
Speaking and singing,
Dancing and reaching out,
Taking the mask from the unknown man,
To see and be seen.
Laughing child and unknown man,
Twins now whole.
The mask is gone.
I am the child,
I am the man.
